USING DOUBLE-TAP FIREARMS FOR FIREARM TRANSFERS, AMMUNITION TRANSFERS, AND PURCHASES, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING POLICIES:

RESPONSIBILITY:

EVERY CUSTOMER IS RESPONISBIBLE FOR KNOWING HIS/HER CITY AND STATE LAWS REGARDING FIREARM, AMMUNITION SALES AND/OR TRANSFERS.  IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, CONTACT YOUR LOCAL FFL DEALER BEFORE ORDERING TO VERIFY LEGALITIES, TRANSFER FEES AND IF THE FFL DEALER WILL RECEIVE YOUR TRANSFER.  THE CUSTOMER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND COSTS FOR RETURNED ITEMS DUE TO FFL REFUSAL OR FAILURE TO RECEIVE ITEMS.

WE DO NOT SHIP FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION TO POST OFFICE (PO) BOXES, ARMY POST OFFICE (APO) OR FLEET POST OFFICE (FPO) ADDRESSES.

WE DO NOT SHIP ANY ITEMS INCLUDING FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION TO THE FOLLOWING CITIES OR STATES:

WE DO NOT SHIP HIGH-CAPACITY MAGAZINES WITH ANY FIREARMS IN CALIFONIA OR THE STATES LISTED ABOVE.  WE DO NOT REPLACE HIGH-CAPACITY MAGAZINES WITH STATE COMPLIANT 10 ROUND MAGAZINES. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR LOSS OF/IN PLACE OF HIGH-CAPACITY MAGAZINES.

WE DO NOT SHIP HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SUCH AS BLACK POWDER, GUN POWDER, PRIMERS, ETC. (In store pickup only).

 FIREARM PURCHASES MADE ON-LINE:

It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL).  Federal and State law prohibits shipping firearms to anyone that does not hold an active Federal Firearms License (FFL).  All firearms ship only to active FFLs. Firearms purchased on-line may be picked up in our store or can be shipped to an active FFL near you. We will contact and verify the FFL you have selected during checkout before any firearm(s) is shipped. The purchaser is encouraged to contact the receiving FFL (gun store) before a purchase is made.

Purchasers residing in California should be aware; California law limits the purchase of firearms as of January 1, 2024: “NO PERSON SHALL MAKE AN APPLICATION TO PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE FIREARM WITHIN ANY 30-DAY PERIOD AND NO DELIVERY SHALL BE MADE TO ANY PERSON WHO HAS MADE AN APPLICATION TO PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE FIREARM WITHIN ANY 30-DAY PERIOD.

Firearms transferred between individuals that are transacted through FFL dealers, (known as Private Party Transfers), are exempt from the one handgun or semiautomatic centerfire rifle in a 30-day period.  Consignment handguns or semiautomatic centerfire rifle purchases made from California FFL dealers are also exempt from the one in 30-day period.

California firearm and ammunition purchases are restricted to in store purchases only for CA DOJ background checks or must be transferred to a California FFL for transfer.

TO PURCHASE FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION IN CALIFORNIA YOU MUST BE A RESIDENT OF CALIFORNIA AND BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

SHIPPING FEES:

ALL FIREARM SHIPMENTS FOR TRANSFER REQUIRE SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY, NO EXCEPTIONS.

 TRANSFER FEES, STORAGE FEES AND ABANDONED ITEMS:

Firearm Transfer Fees

• Firearms – on-line purchases transferred to DOUBLE-TAP FIREARMS, $100.00, this includes handling and Ca DOJ DROS fee.
• Firearms – purchased in store, $37.19 CA DOJ fee.
• Ammunition – on-line purchases transferred to DOUBLE-TAP FIREARMS. The fee is 1 cent per round + $1.00 Ca DOJ instant background check fee.
• Ammunition – Ca DOJ Extended background check – $19.00 Ca DOJ fee.

New Firearm Orders

• Any firearm(s) held longer than 30 days will be charged $5 per week for storage and will be due at the time of registration.
• Any firearm(s) left unregistered or unclaimed for more than 1 year (365 days) or where storage fees exceed the cost of the weapon, the firearm will become the property of Double-Tap Firearms.
• If a refund on a non-registered firearm sale is requested, there will be a 20% restocking fee along with any storage fees that may have accumulated. This includes failure to pass a California Department of Justice (Ca DOJ) background check, Denial, Restricted or Undetermined finding by the Ca DOJ.

Firearm Transfers

• Any firearm(s) held longer than 30 days will be charged $5.00 per week for storage due at the time of registration.
• Any firearm(s) left unregistered or unclaimed for more than 180 days, will become the property of Double-Tap Firearms, to be disposed of at our discretion to cover storage and handling fees.

Ammunition Transfers

• Transferred ammunition storage fees will start 30 days after receiving the ammunition.
• Ammunition storage fees will be $5.00 per week per box/case.
• Ammunition left or unclaimed for more than 90 days, will become the property of Double-Tap Firearms, to be disposed of at our discretion to cover storage and handling fees.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS:

IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR PURCHASE, PLEASE CONTACT US WITHIN 15 BUSINESS DAYS OF PURCHASE.

Sales on the following items are final.

• Special Orders
• Products sold “as is” or “used” or that have been installed or used after receipt.
• All Firearm Sales.
• Illumination devices, electronic sights, and optics.
• If a firearm ships to your selected FFL and is returned by the FFL to Double-Tap Firearms for any reason (i.e. Failed background check or firearm is not allowed in state or municipality) you will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

USED FIREARMS

Used firearms may not be returned.  All sales are final. Description and photos (if available) are provided by the seller.

Double-Tap Firearms does not do consignment sales.

GENERAL FIREARM SALES

All firearms, magazines, receivers, and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state local laws and regulations.  Many of the firearms, magazines, and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area.  Please check your local and state regulations before ordering.

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer’s box, with magazine(s), accessories, and applicable warranty.  Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase or repair.  Accessories and special-order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing.  Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special-order items.
